Nantucket Yacht Club Employment
The Nantucket Yacht Club is located on a beautiful historic island 30 miles off the coast of Cape Cod. With the Clubhouse situated on the harbor, it provides a unique work environment. The Club's facilities include a fine dining restaurant, snack bar, casual & buffet dining, sailing center, waterfront launch, junior yacht club, and tennis courts. We are a seasonal employer offering positions from June - October. Housing may be available for some positions. The ability to work in July and August is required of most positions. The ability to work through Labor Day (9/2/24) is required of most restaurant and serving positions. Please email the designated contacts below with questions.

Launch Operator
This position requires either a USCG Masters License or Limited Masters License. All launch operators participate in pre-employment substance screening and random screening throughout the season.

Maintenance
Trades or cleaning experience is helpful for this position but not necessary. These duties include, but are not limited to: Event set-ups, sweeping, mopping, cleaning and stocking restrooms, recycling, weeding, lawn mowing and minor repairs.

Parking Attendant
The parking lot at Nantucket Yacht Club is a busy place. This is the first smiling face our members encounter as they enter our property. Great attitude and organizational skills a must. Duties include recording guest names and member permit numbers, counting cars, and directing traffic.

Terms/Conditions of Employment
Positions are available from early June through September (short season) or October (long season).
Applicant must enjoy working with and around people and must possess a strong work ethic and bring enthusiasm to the workplace. The NYC is a dedicated service-oriented organization providing a home-away-from-home atmosphere for its membership. Training is provided for most positions listed. Some positions have a minimum age requirement of 18 years. Please be certain to read and fill out the Club's Employment Application completely and provide specific dates available and last working day.
