The Junior Yacht Club "JYC"...
is a fun, drop-in program located next to the Snack Bar for children of members (and their guests) of the Nantucket Yacht Club.
The program directors of the JYC organize fun activities on & off-site for your children. Children enjoy crafts, games, stories, & field trips. All children are welcome to join us in the JYC, but children under the age of 7 must be accompanied by an adult. If your child is 6 or under, please have an adult present while they play or participate in activities.
Family Cookouts!
Wednesdays at 6:00 -7:30 pm
JYC Family Cookouts are a chance for families to have fun together. Dinner is served buffet-style with hamburgers, hot dogs, & a special menu based on the weekly theme. Come join us for games & activities while making memories!

JYC Play!
The JYC will be exploring drama again this year with a play during the months of July and August. Sign-ups for each play will take place in the first weeks of July and August. The performance will be scheduled at the end of each respective month. More information and specific dates will be available in June.

Talent Show
Wednesday, July 10th and August 7th
during the JYC family cookout
The annual JYC talent show is back for another year! Children 4-12 are welcome to participate, but must sign up in the JYC in advance. Talents from previous years show include: singing, dancing, dramatic demonstrations, piano, guitar, & more.
Field Trips & Activities!
The JYC conducts field trips off-site and special activities on-site throughout the summer. Fishing with Vin, Lego creations, beach trips, movie days, & cooking activities are examples of some of the happenings in the JYC during July & August. A calendar of activities will be available with specific dates & details.
